Hi. I am a Texas certified elementary teacher with a Master's in Education. I just recently completed my student teaching in 3rd grade. I am comfortable tutoring all elementary subjects, and I am familiar with the state standards that your children are expected to master. When tutoring students in the past, I always made sure to align my tutoring with the students needs, as well as what was happening in the classroom that week. I strive to develop a positive relationship with each one of my students. I foster a sense of confidence in them that goes a long way in helping them achieve their learning goals. I am patient, as well as flexible. When tutoring a student, I prefer to implement strategies that will help the student build conceptual knowledge on their own, rather than simply giving them the answer. Doing so benefits them in the long term and gives them the skills they need to succeed. I am confident in my ability to identify and meet the unique needs of your child.
